Another article on sunlight, vitamin D and athletics.

Rugby players in the UK have very good vitamin D levels while training and competing under the summer sun, but those levels drop dramatically during fall and winter. This article discusses the need for players to maintain vitamin D levels during winter due to the fact that sports injuries increase with vitamin D deficiency. I only wish they had suggested a tanning bed as a way to maintain those levels.
